Microchip identification

It is required by law for dogs, cats and ferrets from 3 months of age.

This data becomes part of a registry in Andalusia, although it is accessible nationwide, and in the event of loss or theft, this code is read using a microchip reader that both veterinarians and police officers have.

Processing changes in microchip owner/data/address

If you change your address, give your pet to a new owner or, on the contrary, have adopted a pet, you must complete a form at the veterinarian for this procedure.

Likewise, if you come from another country or autonomous community and plan to live with your pet for more than three months in Andalusia, you must go to the vet to register the chip in the database of the Andalusian identification system (RAIA).

All these procedures are carried out at the Estrella de Mar Veterinary Center. It is important to complete this procedure, because if it is not done, the data of the former owner will appear.

Internal deworming

Deworming is an essential veterinary procedure for the health of our pets and for those of us who live with them.
